I started recommending bone broth after hearing about all of it's amazing benefits last year. By looking at the image on the right, you can see that it's great for everything from allergies to osteoarthritis to a plethora of digestion issues and more. One of the reasons for this is because bone broth is the ONLY thing that can seal up the holes in our intestinal lining caused by parasites - which in today's world is oh so, ewww, common.
Not you? Hmmm. Well, if you like to walk barefoot in the grass, eat pork, have a dog that you love to snuggle with or eat any processed food, guess what? Chances are, you've got 'em.
Anyway...since I kept finding myself repeating the "recipe" again and again, I thought it would benefit everyone to just include it here for easy repeat reference. I've even included a couple of recipes from around the world so that you can create variety. Bon appetit!
Short on Time?
Heard a rumor that you can now buy bone broth in K-cups? Yes, I heard it too. Sold in plastic pods which are supposedly 100% recyclable, these are designed for those who cannot cook up their own. I have yet to hear back on the type of beef/chicken the bones come from. After all, if you're going to consume bone broth, do you really want to use bones that may contain antibiotics and heaven knows what else?
